Pre-Conference Intensives 2024
(Remember you must make your own hotel reservation, phone number: 717-464-2711 and mention Pennwriters to receive the group pricing). Here is
the hotel link created just for Pennwriters to book online.
You may select the full day conference schedule, a single-day attendance, or a two-day attendance. This year, the coordinators have negotiated to have meals included in the conference fees. Friday Networking Luncheon, Friday Keynote Dinner, Saturday Breakfast Buffet, Saturday Keynote Luncheon, and Saturday Evening Social. All meals except the Friday Keynote Dinner are buffet style. If you are attending a Thursday Intensive, lunch is an add-on and not included in the workshop's fee.
You will have the options to select a pitch appointment, Friday evening Read & Critique, and Pre-Conference Intensives.
Published Penns will again have a Friday track of workshops and this year, the workshops will be open to anyone with publishing credits.
The bookseller will be available to sell attendees' books.
Authors must make arrangements with the bookseller in advance even if you are providing copies of your books. A book-signing event will follow Saturday's workshops. You must fill out these forms before the conference. You must return them to the bookseller not the conference coordinators at

The basket raffle is always a highlight. If you are bringing a basket to support the organization, please help the basket chair by preparing and wrapping the basket before taking it to the hospitality suite.
All evidence points to a crime if you miss the Saturday Night Social! So don your detective’s cap, play the victim or find yourself on the forensics team – Just get into character and collect the evidence to solve the mystery, or be sure to have a solid alibi.
